Rolling Stone Metal Awards 2014 Date Announced

The fifth edition of the annual Indian metal awards takes place on June 22nd in Mumbai

We lost count of the number of times people leaped on to hundreds of metalheads to crowdsurf at the Rolling Stone Metal Awards last year. The fifth edition of the annual metal awards show returns to Mumbai venue The Blue Frog on June 22nd this month.

The fourth edition of the Metal Awards saw hardcore band Scribe, libero metal band Rectified Spirit, black metallers 1833 AD and thrash/death metal band Devoid play to a packed house. To keep things funny, scene funnyman Rohit ”˜P-Man’ Pereira [who was previously played bass with death metallers Exhumation, groove metal band Pin Drop Violence and now plays with electro pop band Shaa’ir + Func] returns as RSMA host and might just egg on a few more people to ”˜fly’.

Stay tuned for the nominees list for the Rolling Stone Metal Awards 2014, out later this week. In the mean time, check out the contest on our homepage and win free CDs from the likes of Lamb of God, Judas Priest, In Flames and more.

The Rolling Stone Metal Awards takes place on June 22nd, 2014 at Blue Frog, Mumbai. Entry: TBA. Event details here.

Watch guitarist, vocalist and drummer Sahil Makhija [from extreme metallers Demonic Resurrection, death metal band Reptilian Death and comedy rock band Workshop] talk about his favorite metal releases of the year so far.
