Rolling Stone Metal Awards 2014 Photo Contest

No matter how many different times you’ve seen a mosh break out, a barrage of headbangers windmilling their hair or stage dives, they’re best captured by photographers. Some of the most brutal moments at a metal gig have been captured by photographers, from the smart phone-wielding crowd to the professional cameramen, to best sum up a gig.

In the run-up to the fifth edition of the Rolling Stone Metal Awards, we’re accepting photos from metal gigs across the country. The 10 best photos will be showcased at the awards on June 22nd at Blue Frog, Mumbai. We’re also giving away free entry to RSMA 2014 for those who send in the best photos. The awards show will feature performances by Mumbai extreme metallers Demonic Resurrection, Aizawl death metal band Third Sovereign, Bengaluru-based folk metal band The Down Troddence and Mumbai hardcore/progressive metal band Reverrse Polarity.
