Rolling Stone India has partnered with Facebook India to introduce a first-of-its-kind music news bulletin, #RollingStoneOnAir. The fortnightly show will be broadcast live from Facebook’s Mumbai office and the first episode will go live on August 17th, 2.30pm IST.

Hosted by metal vocalist Pratika Prabhune (Chronic Phobia, Checkbox) and blues rock band The Tripp’s lead guitarist Ralcus Aguiar, #RollingStoneOnAir will feature top trending stories in music and pop culture, debate sessions and guest performances. The inaugural episode will see an acoustic gig by popular Mumbai singer-songwriter Tejas Menon, who will also join the hosts in a lively debate.

Says Radhakrishnan Nair, Publisher & Editor-in-Chief, “#RollingStoneOnAir is a unique online initiative that aims to bring together the music and pop culture-loving community in India. We at Rolling Stone India are committed to fostering engagement and interaction between artists and audience and believe that #RollingStoneOnAir will also help in supporting new talent and giving it a platform.”

To catch the show, tune in to our Facebook page tomorrow, August 17th, at 2:30 PM.
