Mick Jagger straps on the guitar for this rip-roaring take on “Doom and Gloom,” a performance extracted from the Rolling Stones’ impending video and audio release Sweet Summer Sun ”“ Hyde Park Live, which hits stores in the U.S. on November 12th. Filmed during the iconic band’s celebrated, massive London concerts this past summer, the enthusiastic live clip attests to the fact that Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood were fully committed to their historic 50th anniversary tour.

“It was beautiful with the sun going down over Hyde Park,” Jagger said in a statement of the shows shot for the project. “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the Rolling Stones 50 than doing it on our home patch in front of 100,000 people on a glorious summer night . . . Enjoy it ”“ we certainly did.”

Aside from 2012’s “Doom and Gloom” (the Stones’ lead single from their golden anniversary compilation GRRR!), the 16-track Sweet Summer Sun consists largely of classics from the band’s 50 years in rock, including “Start Me Up,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Tumbling Dice” and “Brown Sugar.” Unexpected numbers like “Before They Make Me Run” (from 1978’s Some Girls) and “You Got the Silver” (from 1969’s Let It Bleed) round out the project. The audio portion was produced by Don Was (Voodoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon, A Bigger Bang) and remixed by Bob Clearmountain (“Miss You,” Tattoo You, “Out of Tears”).

Alongside the band’s core members, they were accompanied by former guitarist Mick Taylor during these concerts, which will be released on DVD and Blu-ray as well as in 2 CD/DVD and 3LP/DVD formats. If that’s not enough, a deluxe edition of Sweet Summer Sun ”“ Hyde Park Live will collect the DVD, Blu-Ray and 2CD with a 60-page book.
