Rosé Invokes Late Nights, Vintage Nintendo on ‘Rosie’ Track list
The Blackpink singer’s debut solo album arrives Dec. 6
Rosé is setting the vibes for her upcoming album, Rosie. On Monday, the Blackpink singer shared the track list on Instagram, writing, “I can’t wait for u all to hear everything.”
Rosie offers 12 tracks that promise to bring the party and plenty of heartbreak — at least according to some song titles like “3am,” “Dance All Night,” “Drinks or Coffee,” and “Toxic to the End.” She also seemingly invokes retro Nintendo handgame with the song “Gameboy.” Other song titles include “Two Years,” “Stay a Little Longer,” “Not the Same,” “Call It the End,” and “Too Bad for Us.” Rosé’s two previously released singles, “Apt.,” featuring Bruno Mars, and “Number One Girl,” will also appear on the album.
The full-length project comes after Rosé’s debut solo singles in 2021, “On the Ground” and “Gone.” Rosé first shared the news about her debut solo album in October 2024. “I have poured my blood and tears into this album,” she wrote on Instagram, adding, “I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine.” In an interview with Paper, the singer further detailed just how open she is on the album. She even wrote a “disgustingly vulnerable” song about doomscrolling through comments about herself.
It’s clear Rosé has set out to make a name for herself apart from her massive Blackpink fame while also harnessing her humanity. In the same interview with Paper, she said: “At the end of the day, I want people to understand me and stop misunderstanding me as a person as well.”
