RS Electro: Luke Kenny and Technoetic to Debut in Delhi

The music producers will make their way from Mumbai to the Summer House Café in Delhi to deliver an electronic/techno set

The fast-growing indie electronica scene will see two more music producers on board this month, as Mumbai-based Technoetic and Luke Kenny make their debut in Delhi.

Technoetic has played across a number of venues across Mumbai over the years with local artists like Jitter, LoboCop and Trapeze apart from clubs and private gigs. Technoetic will now take over the decks at Summer House Cafe to play his own mixes of tech house, acid house and techno. Drawing inspiration from the likes of American artist Josh Wink, Steve Bug, Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke and Marco Carola, the Mumbai-based music producer is gearing up to play a high-energy set. On playing acid house, a sub-genre of electronic music that is may not be as popular as other EDM genres such as say, dubstep or tech house, Technoetic says, “My intention is to play new sounds, experimental music and introduce the audience to music other than Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Skrillex, etc. with my set.”

Technoetic will be joined by long-standing musician/actor Luke Kenny, who is usually seen behind the mic rather than spinning records. However, Kenny in fact broke through the entertainment industry as a music producer in 1993, proceeding to play sets across the country, was selected as the brand ambassador for the world DMC Championships and has also delivered a set at the Swedish Embassy in Delhi.

Technoetic is looking forward to playing to a new and enthusiastic audience, and says, “The venue is great; when I was there recently, it was brimming at 10:00 pm and everyone was immersed in the moment, captivated by the music. It’s going to be phenomenal!”

Technoetic and Luke Kenny will perform at Summer House Cafe, Delhi on August 26th, 9 pm. onwards.
