The pop band known for their high-energy renditions of Bollywood songs have announced six cities so far between January and March
Pop-rock band Sanam will perform in six cities as part of an upcoming India tour, kicking off on January 6th in Lucknow and going all the way to Hyderabad on March 9th. More dates are expected to be added on their run of shows.
Sanam will perform in Lucknow (January 6th), Ahmedabad (February 11th), Pune (February 17th), Delhi NCR (February 24th), Mumbai (March 2nd) and Hyderabad (March 9th) as part of their India tour. Additional cities with dates yet to be announced include Bengaluru, Kolkata and Chandigarh.
The band, comprising vocalist Sanam Puri, guitarist Samar Puri, drummer Keshav Dhanraj and bassist Venkat Subramaniyam, are trekking across India on the back of being one of the country’s most heard bands, with 11.1 million subscribers on YouTube. Best known for their renditions of pop songs and evergreen Bollywood hits like “Gulabi Aanhken” and “Kya Hua Tera Wada,” Sanam have previously released songs like “Jaane De Mujhe” to showcase their original songwriting as well.
The band said in a statement, “We are extremely excited to embark on our multi-city tour in India and connect with our fans across the country. We thoroughly enjoy live shows and it is absolutely the best way to connect with our fans. The vibe and energy is always electric and we can’t wait to bring our music to all the different cities and spread the joy and love that music brings.”
