German hard rock veterans Scorpions will return to India this April as part of their Coming Home tour, performing in four cities.
The band behind iconic hits like “Rock You Like A Hurricane,” “Winds of Change” and “Still Loving You” will perform in Shillong on Apr. 21, 2026 at JN Stadium, in Delhi-NCR on Apr. 24 at HUDA Grounds, Gurugram, in Bengaluru on Apr. 26 at NICE Grounds and close in Mumbai on Apr. 30 at Jio Gardens, BKC as part of the tour produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live.
The announcement comes on the back of a few rumors of the German greats–comprising vocalist Klaus Meine, guitarist and founder Rudolf Schenker, guitarist Matthias Jabs, bassist Paweł Mąciwoda and drummer Mikkey Dee (previously known for his work with seminal trio Motorhead)–returning to the country after 18 years, last performing in December 2007.
Meine says in a statement, “We are incredibly excited to finally be touring India again after such a long time and are looking forward to meeting our many, many fans in India. The concerts will also be a very special experience for us.”
Schenker adds in his statement, “Sixty years after the band’s founding, we’re bringing our ‘Coming Home’ concert to India. It will be a unique celebration for our fans and for us.”
Jabs, for his part, says, “Finally playing in India again – and on top of that our now iconic ‘Coming Home’ concerts – will be spectacular and unforgettable for us as well.”
Formed in 1965 by Schenker, there’s a six-decade legacy that the German band continues to build upon. They’ve released 19 studio albums, the most recent one being Rock Believer in 2022 and played in over 80 countries, arguably defining the arena-rock sound
