Six of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children have pledged their unyielding support for their father as he faces charges of sex trafficking by force, racketeering conspiracy, fraud or coercion and transporting for prostitution. They shared their first public statement directly addressing the allegations surrounding the disgraced mogul since his arrest in September on Instagram Tuesday morning.

“The past month has devastated our family,” the statement begins, posted as a caption beneath a photo featuring Combs and his children Quincy Brown, 33, Justin Combs, 30, Christian Combs, 26, Chance Combs, 18, and twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs, 17. “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media.”

The post continues: “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”

Also pictured in the photo are Combs’ mother Janice Small Combs and Dana Tran, pictured with their one-year-old daughter. With the exception of Tran and her daughter, Small Combs and Combs’ six children attended his Oct. 10 federal court hearing where a judge set a trial date for May 5, 2025. Combs, 54, has been held without bail since his Sept. 16 arrest. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and stands to face up to 15 years to life in prison if convicted.

Earlier this month, Small Combs issued her own statement in defense of her son. “It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies,” she shared at the time. “It is important to recognize that none of us, regardless of our status, are immune to fear or mistakes. Not being entirely straightforward about one issue does not mean my son is guilty of the repulsive allegations and the grave charges leveled against him.”

Prior to their Oct. 22 statement, Combs’ children had only previously addressed the public narrative surrounding a memoir purportedly written by their mother. In a separate post signed by Quincy, Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila, the children of Combs and Kim Porter denied claims that she authored a book before her death from lobar pneumonia in 2018.

“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out,” they wrote. “Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interests at heart.”

The statement continued: “Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed. While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day. We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of what has been the most tragic event of our lives.”
