AP Dhillon, the Indo-Canadian artist showcased his brand of Punjabi music on the global stage of Coachella this past Sunday. Dhillon follows in the footsteps of Diljit Dosanjh, who made waves with his all-Punjabi set at the festival last year.
Dhillon – who recently collaborated with Stormzy – performed at the Sahara Stage at the festival and put on a mesmerizing set playing his hits from Not by Chance, Hidden Gems and Two Hearts Never Break The Same. The artist was also joined by backup dancers.
At the end of his set, the flying-V guitar that Dhillon used during the performance was made to shreds by the artist himself as he went full-blown rockstar and smashed the instrument to pieces.
