See Aziz Ansari, Eric Wareheim’s Goofy Video for Kanye West’s ‘Famous’

'Master of None' duo turn Italian adventures into 'The Life of Pablo' clip

While Kanye West hasn’t promoted The Life of Pablo with any new music videos (yet), Aziz Ansari has him covered: The comedian, along with Tim & Eric star and music video director Eric Wareheim, have teamed up for a goofy clip for Pablo‘s “Famous.”

The video is more of a travelogue for Ansari and Wareheim while the duo filmed the second season of Master of None in Italy ”“ Ansari’s character leaves for Europe to perfect his pasta-making at the end of Season One ”“ with the co-stars eating, drinking and cavorting their way through the streets. Neither actually attempts to sync up with West’s controversy-courting lyrics; instead, Ansari cues up Swizz Beatz’ “Goddamn!” on every amazing bite of food or sip of wine he encounters.

This isn’t the first time a comic has decided to make their own Kanye music video: Zach Galifianakis and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy’s Will Oldham previously teamed for a similarly nonsensical “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”:
