Rocker shows off viral dance moves at River Tour stop

Bruce Springsteen‘s recently wrapped The River Tour provided fans with plenty of memorable moments, from tributes to Prince, David Bowie and Glenn Frey and an Eddie Vedder cameo to a 10-year-old guest vocalist and the rocker dancing with his 90-year-old mother Adele. Thanks to newly surfaced video, it has been revealed that the trek also provided Springsteen with ample opportunity to show off some new dance moves, as he busted out the Whip/Nae Nae and Dab at his Oakland concert in March.
The New York Daily News, who first posted the video, provided some more details about Springsteen’s impromptu dance moves: As customary at E Street Band concerts, Springsteen welcomed a female fan onstage to groove along to “Dancing in the Dark.”
On this occasion, he pulled a young girl named Boo onto the stage, and she instantly starting doing the Whip/Nae Nae, which was mimicked by Springsteen. Then, without hesitation, the rocker began dabbing, another dance move that reached peak virality around the time of the Oracle Arena concert thanks to Cam Newton.
At press time, Springsteen had not yet partaken in the Running Man Challenge.
