See Coldplay Bike Around Mexico City in ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ Video

Coldplay have unveiled their new video for “A Head Full of Dreams,” the title track off their 2015 LP. The Marcus Haney-directed video was filmed this April in Mexico City during the band’s sold-out Latin American tour.

The video opens with a sample of Charlie Chaplin’s magnanimous speech from The Great Dictator, a scene employed by Coldplay at the start of their recent concerts that has seen a viral resurgence in recent months as a result of Donald Trump’s polarizing rhetoric.The Chaplin audio gives way to the title track’s uplifting beats as Super-8 footage captures Coldplay riding around the streets of Mexico City on bicycles. Chris Martin and company’s bike trip takes them to the sold-out Foro Sol stadium where the band is set to perform. The camera then follows the band onstage for their jubilant, confetti-filled performance.

“A Head Full of Dreams” is the latest colorful, eye-catching video off Coldplay’s new album, following the band’s clever clips for “Adventure of a Lifetime,” “Up&Up” and the BeyoncÃ©-featuring “Hymn for the Weekend.”
