See Naezy Own the Streets of Mumbai in New Video for ‘Aafat Waapas’

The track is the rapper’s first release since 2017's 'Aane De'

During the promotion for Zoya Akthar’s film Gully Boy ”“ based on the country’s rap scene, we finally got a chance to see Mumbai rapper Naezy back on stage at the music launch for the movie last month at the city-based Richardson and Cruddas.

Now, after more than a year away from the scene, India’s A-list hip-hop artist is back with his latest offering, the mesmerizing “Aafat Waapas,” his first since 2017.

The song ”“ which is a sequel to his hit track “Aafat””“ features Naezy spitting lively and quick-fire rhymes to a pulsating beat by producer Phenom. The music video ”“ directed by Naezy himself ”“ is set to the background of his hometown as he raps in by lanes, on the main roads and even outside Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.
