See Tom Hiddleston, as Loki, Deliver Chicago Weather Report
“The god of thunder has brought his skill set to bear on the local weather,” actor says of intense storms heading to Windy City
Weeks after Flavor Flav invaded a Salt Lake City news program to deliver a weather report, Thor villain Loki ”“ or actor Tom Hiddleston ”“ dropped into the Fox 32 studios in Chicago to explain in Marvel terms why an “intense,” tornado-producing storm system was making its way to the Windy City.
“My brother from another mother has been misbehaving,” Hiddleston, as Loki ”“although in a suit instead of a costume ”“ said during his impromptu weather report. “The god of thunder has brought his skill set to bear on the local weather, so to say, so there is this huge storm front coming in, and all that means is that [Thor star] Chris Hemsworth has taken his hammer and he’s smashed it on the surface of the sky, and it’s going to rain a hell of a lot. So good luck with that.”
Hiddleston’s Chicago forecast came after the actor discussed his new film, the Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light, on air with movie critic Richard Roeper. Hiddleston will next appear as Loki in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, which is rumored to be the actor’s last time suiting up as the longtime Marvel Cinematic Universe villain.
