The Jammu-origin hip-hop’s four-track EP will release via T-Series on Jul. 12

Jammu hip-hop artist Shen B, who appeared on the hip-hop reality show MTV Hustle 03 REPRESENT last year, has announced his next EP Siyappa, a four-track set slated to release via T-Series on Jul. 12.

His next move comes just as he released a quick and club-ready new song independently, “Hitman” which draws from the success of the Indian Men’s Cricket Team at the recent T20 World Cup, specifically captain Rohit Sharma who has the nickname Hitman.

Shen B – known for stirring songs like “Rubina” – promises a new side to him on Siyappa EP. Boasting “eclectic tracks poised to become chartbusters,” the tracklist includes songs like “JagerBomb,” “Marjaaniye,” “Nora” and the title track “Siyappa.” A press release adds, “Each song showcases Shen B’s unique style and versatility, resonating deeply with his ever-expanding fanbase.”

The rapper added in a statement, “I aimed to deliver freshness and excitement to my fans. Each track offers a distinct experience—some will energize you, others will make you groove and chase love, and some will strike an emotional and romantic chord. I hope my fans feel the passion and effort that went into crafting this EP, and I eagerly await everyone’s feedback.”

Siyappa EP will debut on Jul. 12 on the T-Series YouTube Channel and will be available on all major streaming platforms.

Although pegged by T-Series as his debut EP, Shen B has previously released two EPs independently, including “Zamaana” in 2021 and the six-track Kaafi in 2022. Steadily building his fanbase, the rapper gained national prominence after appearing on MTV Hustle 03 REPRESENT in 2023. Following the stint, the rapper took a break to “reconsider my approach to music with a rejuvenated perspective.” He told Rolling Stone India in a previous interview, “During this break, I aim to experiment with various sounds and explore different styles within the realm of hip-hop, possibly even contemplating a complete genre shift for an upcoming project.”

T-Series, for their part, have steadily begun working with more desi hip-hop talent including Ikka and Shen B’s fellow Hustle participants including Amravati rapper 100RBH, who put out his EP Zindagi via the majorMay.
