The world’s most affable Beatle, Sir Paul Mc Cartney sings ‘And I Love Her’ again as he walks down the aisle on Sunday morning in London to marry his third wife, Nancy Shevell. Mc Cartney, 69, and Shevell, 51, exchanged their vows in a grand ceremony attended by close family and friends at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in Central London. To capture the occasion, a beeline of photographers and TV reporters waited to capture frames of the couple outside the Hall. Needless to say, the newly wed Mc Cartneys didn’t disappoint with a shower of white rose petals and orchids carpeting their path ahead. Shevell and Mc Cartney have been dating since 2007 and is a board member of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The couple will live between New York and London.
Incidentally, the Old Marylebone Town Hall is the same place where Mc Cartney married his first wife Linda nearly 40 years ago, who died of breast cancer in 1998. He was also briefly married to former model Heather Mills, before they divorced in 2008.
