Back in August, when details regarding former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash’s plans to tour India were announced, there were the usual group of naysayers writing it off, especially since there were no details on Slash’s official website.
Now, news from Slash’s Twitter feed reveals that the three-city tour of Chandigarh, Mumbai and Bengaluru has been pushed back due to logistical reasons. The guitarist tweeted: “India’s been moved to later in the year. By no fault of our own mind you. Some sort of promoter logistic issue. Exact dates TBD.”
Slash was scheduled to perform on February 12th in Chandigarh, February 16th in Mumbai, and February 17th in Bengaluru. The guitarist’s website lists shows in Russia on February 16th and 17th. Organizers Mooz Entertainment are yet to make a formal announcement of the tour being postponed.Â
