Slipknot will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album at Knotfest 2024, taking place Sept. 21 at Water Works Park in the band’s hometown of Des Moines, Iowa.

Slipknot will headline the one-day event with a set that draws heavily from the 1999 album. They’re also planning to overhaul the Knotfest Museum — a longtime staple of festival as its traveled the world — with an array of artifacts and ephemera from throughout Slipknot’s 25 year history

Along with Slipknot, Knotfest Iowa 2024 will feature performances from Rammstein’s Till Lindemann, Gwar, Knocked Loose, Hatebreed, Poison the Well, Vended, Dying Wish, Twin Temple, Holy Wars, Swollen Teeth, and Spine and Dose.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 3, at 10 a.m. CT via the Knotfest website. A premium presale will take place tomorrow, April 30, between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. CT, and a Knotfest.com subscriber presale will start right after at 12 p.m. CT. Full details are available on the festival’s website.

Knotfest is one of a handful of U.S. festival dates that Slipknot have scheduled so far this year, along with sets at Welcome Rockville in May, Rocklahoma and Louder Than Life in September, and Aftershock in October. They’ll also bring Knotfest back to Brazil in October before playing a bunch of European and U.K. dates in November and December.

The fairly busy touring schedule notably comes after frontman Corey Taylor decided earlier this year to cancel his North American solo tour. “For the past several months my mental and physical health have been breaking down, and I reached a place that was unhealthy for my family and me,” he told fans. “I know this decision will come as a shock to some and may be regarded as unpopular by others – but after taking a hard look at where I am and where I was going, I need to pull myself back and be home with my family for the time being.”
