“Live to Rise,” Soundgarden‘s first new song in 15 years, is slated to appear on the soundtrack for The Avengersin May. The full track hasn’t leaked just yet, but thehas released a 30-second teaser ”“ which you can check out below  ”“ showing off the song’s colossal riffs.

You may be wondering, “Wait, what about those previously unreleased songs on their greatest hits album, Telephantasm, a few years back?” Well, “Black Rain” and “The Telephantasm” were reworked from material dating back to the late Eighties and early Nineties. “Live to Rise” is an all-new song composed after the band reunited, and it gives us some sense of what to expect from the band’s forthcoming album.
