‘Raanjhan’ by Sachet-Parampara, from Bollywood film ‘Do Patti’ is the top streamed song in India on Spotify in 2025, while Pritam and Shreya Ghoshal are the second and third-most streamed artists in India

Bollywood titans, the new wave of Indian popstars and Punjabi hitmakers all share space in Spotify India’s Wrapped this year, with the roundup reflecting listening trends across the country.
For the seventh consecutive year, singer Arijit Singh remains the most-streamed artist on Spotify in India in 2025, followed by fellow Bollywood artists like composer Pritam (at #2) and singer Shreya Ghoshal (at #3). The top 10 also includes heavyweights such as A.R. Rahman (#4), Anirudh Ravichander (#5), Sachin-Jigar (#6) and more.
At 246 million streams, the Bollywood song “Raanjhan” by music duo Sachet-Parampara for the film Do Patti leads the top 10 Spotify songs in India this year, but Indian pop artists like Kushagra (“Finding Her” with Bharath and Saaheal in second place), Aditya Rikhari (“Sahiba” at #4), Faheem Abdullah (“Ishq” with Rauhan Malik, Amir Ameer at #5) and Anuv Jain (“Jo Tum Mere Ho” at #6) are close behind.
To their credit, the title track from romantic drama Saiyaara by composers Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah (who also sang the track) and Arslan Nizami, and lyricist Irshad Kamil was in third place among Top Songs in India on Spotify this year. Coincidentally, another “Sahiba”— by Jasleen Royal, Stebin Ben, Priya Saraiya, Aditya Sharma — is at #9.
Saiyaara, featuring songs composed by Bagchi, Abdullah, Vishal Mishra, Mithoon, Sachet-Parampara and The Rish, was the top streamed album on Spotify in India this year, but a lot more catalogue releases dominate the top 10 albums. That includes Aashiqui 2 from 2013 by composer Mithoon in second place, 2023’s Animal by composer Manan Bhardwaj in third place, Pritam’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani OST from 2013 coming in fourth, and Himesh Reshammiya’s Sanam Teri Kasam OST from 2016 in fifth place.
While Bollywood’s dominance holds, the country’s next wave of indie and Punjabi artists continues to redefine what mainstream success looks like.
Punjabi hitmaker Karan Aujla’s two albums, P-Pop Culture and Making Memories, both appear among the top 10 full-lengths in India, at #8 and #9 respectively.
On the podcast front in India, Spotify Wrapped states that Figuring Out with Raj Shamani takes the top spot, with true-crime podcasts like The Horror Show by Khooni Monday and The Desi Crime Podcast at #2 and #3, respectively.
