Spud In The Box is a six piece alternative/pop rock band from Mumbai comprising Rohan Rajadhyaksha (keyboard, vocals), Siddharth Talwar (guitars), Ankit Dayal (vocals, guitars), Hartej Sawhney (guitars), Joshua Singh (drums, percussion) and Zubin Bhathena (bass). Drummer and founding member Vivaaan Kapoor was replaced in May 2013 (leaving the band due to creative differences) by Joshua Singh, who played both drums and guitar. That year also saw the release of the band’s debut EP, Attention Please. They have gathered a large fan following from major cities all over the country and have opened for major Indian performers such as rock veterans Indus Creed, alternative rock band Junkyard Groove and folk artist Raghu Dixit. Their performances include a variety of venues such as NH7 Weekender in Pune 2012, The M.A.D Festival in Ooty, Hard Rock Cafes around India and several times at Blue Frog in Mumbai.Â
