The camp out music festival’s second edition will be held on February 1st and 2nd
The second edition of Storm Festival will take over Coorg in February next year. The two-day event will take place across four stages in the 22 acre-wide space of Napoklu hill station in Karnataka.
Last year, the lineup included a mix of electronic and folk music ”“ including the headliners Indian Ocean and The Raghu Dixit Project and DJs such asPearl, Arjun Vagale (formerly of electronica group Jalebee Cartel) and B.R.E.E.D.
Artists returning to the festival include DJs such as Machimanda Muthanna aka Kalypso, Nikhil Chinappa as well his brother Vachan and bands like folk rockers Swarathma and Carnatic prog rockers Agam. This year’s lineup also includes solo artists Sidd Coutto, Siddharth Basrur, Alisha Pais and Michael Dias of Bengaluru’s rock band Mad Orange Fireworks.
Goan EDM artist Anish Sood is a new addition, along with Delhi fusion act Advaita, upcoming folk rock band Agnya from Mumbai and Hindi rock band Coshish. Further additions will tally up to over 45 artists at Storm 2013, with a promise of reaching an upper limit of as many as 140 performers heading to Coorg this February.
