The movie has not only enthralled viewers domestically but also achieved massive success internationally, becoming the most lucrative K-pop concert film in the United States and beyond in 2024. The staggering success is credited to the film’s enormous appeal, Suga’s extraordinary talent, and the unwavering support of the audience. It’s Trafalgar Releasing and HYBE’s latest partnership; their previous initiatives for BTS featured record-breaking event cinema releases.
With 25 shows spread over 10 cities and millions of fans during its run, the world tour SUGA | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE FINAL finds its impressive theatrical edit in the film. Featuring the throbbing momentum and vibe of ‘D-DAY’ THE FINAL, Suga’s gorgeous music and dynamic performance, along with special duet stages with RM, Jimin, and Jung Kook included, the stage comes to life.

The film debuted at number two at the North American box office on April 10 and took the eighth spot on April 13, with North America making $2.3 million in total revenue thus far. The event also entered the weekend’s North American and global top-ten rankings.
The leading market globally with a $2.58 million gross and the number two spot on the weekend chart was Mexico; other significant regional earnings were from Brazil, and Germany. In addition to standard movie formats, SUGA│Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE was on the largest screens internationally in IMAX, the film’s exclusive premium partner, making $2.04 million. The global gross of $10 million+ is given as of the press release’s publication date (April 16). Subsequent releases are scheduled for a few more countries, particularly Japan and India.
