Sulafest 2014 Lineup Announced

The seventh edition of the gourmet music festival features performances by psychedelic act Shpongle, alternative Malayalam rock band Avial and more

The annual Nashik-based wine and music festival Sulafest is back in its seventh edition on February 1st and 2nd this year. The 2013 edition of the festival introduced the Electrozone stage alongside the main stage at Sula Vineyards in Nashik, which gave the crowd a choice between EDM DJs such as Ankytrixx and jazz vocalist Vivienne Pocha and Bengaluru folk rockers Swarathma, among 20 acts. 

So far, this year’s lineup has seven international artists and four Indian acts including psychedelic downtempo act Shpongle, performing as part of their India tour. The lineup also includes British-Indian vocalist Susheela Raman, London dub and big beat band Dub Pistols, Los Angeles-based indo-gypsy fusion act Gypsy All Stars, Britain-based ska reggae act The Dualers and more. Returning to perform from the previous edition of Sulafest isLondon-based bass artist Gaudi. Mumbai-based Kashmiri singer-songwriter Winit Tikoo is among Indian artists who will perform for the second year in a row at Sulafest.

The Indian artists on the lineup include alternative Malayalam rock act Avial, Delhi-based singer songwriter Vasuda Sharma and Mumbai-based R&B band Baycity Lights.

The seventh edition of Sulafest takes place on the 1st and 2nd February, 2014 at Sula Vineyards, Nashik. Tickets are priced between Rs 1600- Rs 2700 on Day One and Rs 1600 on Day Two. Tickets available here and more event details here.
