That two of the Sunburn headliners this year have already toured the country is reason enough for a big upset among EDM fans who have been looking forward to the country’s biggest electronica festival. Dutch electronic stars Sander Van Doorn, who first performed in India in September 2011, Paul Van Dyk who first performed here in 2008 and has been returning ever since, will headline the festival alongwith Dutch house producer Fedde Le Grand, who snagged a Beatport Award for the Best Techno Track for ”˜Metrum’ in 2012.
Other big names set to spin at Candolim beach between December 27th to 29th are American electronica artist Brian Transeau aka BT, house DJ Roger Sanchez, Dutch trance duo W&W, Greek-Swedish house artist Steve Angello aka AN21, English dance trio Dirty Vegas and French funk/disco artist Norman Doray, among others.
Indian artists performing at Sunburn include New Delhi EDM act Jalebee Cartel’s Arjun Vagale and Ash Roy playing solo sets, Goan EDM DJ Anish Sood, Delhi dub act Reggae Rajahs and Bengaluru house/techno DJ Tuhin Mehta.
