Sunburn 2013 Partial Lineup Announced

The first lineup of artists performing at the three-day electronica festival Sunburn Goa, which takes place between December 27th and December 29th, seems to include an impressive mix of both Indian and international names. 

 While Swedish EDM artist Axwell was already confirmed to headline the festival in October, Dutch producer Nick van de Wall aka Afrojack and German trance DJ Makrus Schulz will headline day one and day two, respectively.  Moldovan trance producer Andrew Rayel, South African dance duo Goldfish, British dance producer Pete Tong, German EDM artist Timo Maas, Dutch house artist Quintino and British breakbeat/house producer James Zabiela, among others will also perform at the festival this year.

American trance artist Josh Wink, who performed at the recently-concluded Sunburn Mumbai and Bengaluru, will return to perform for his third India gig on day two of Sunburn Goa. Stages at Sunburn Goa include Jacked [after the radio show by Afrojack], Toolroom Knights [after Mark Knight’s record label] and All Gone Pete Tong [named after Pete Tong’s tours].

Sunburn Goa hosts the new crop of electronica artists, from electro-swing duo Madboy/Mink and future garage artist Sandunes to electronic music producer Big City Harmonics and drum and bass artist Ox7gen. Other Indian EDM artists on the list include Delhi-based electronica artists such as Dualist Inquiry, Kohra, Jitter and Nucleya.

General admission season tickets for the festival cost Rs 9,250, while a VIP season pass costs Rs 15,500. Check out the first lineup of artists announced to play at Sunburn Goa below.
