Alesso, Hardwell, Timmy Trumpet, Charlotte De Witte Set to Headline Sunburn 2023

The four-day dance music festival in Vagator, Goa will bring in 2024 with DJs such as John Newman, Bassjackers, Indo Warehouse and more

The 17th edition of dance music festival Sunburn has announced its full lineup along with news that it will set up in Vagator, Goa between December 28th and 31st to bring in the new year.

Dutch future techno artist Hardwell, Swedish progressive house DJ Alesso, Australian house DJ Timmy Trumpet and Belgian techno artist Charlotte De Witte are slated to headline the mainstage at Sunburn this year.

Focused majorly on electronic music and its various subgenres, the four-day festival will also host DJ-producers such as Bassjackers, Korolova, Indo Warehouse, John Newman, Sander van doorn, Vonai, Glowal and Kas:st, (F)lug, Joel Corry, 39 Kingdom and more.

Indian and India-based artists on the lineup include Teri Miko, Siana Catherine, Sartek, Shiva Manvi, Nina Shah, Candice Redding, Ravetek and Bashunk amongst others. The lineup reportedly includes over 120 artists performing across six stages, all following a theme of “enchanted forest.”

Other attractions outside of the music across multiple stages include ferriswheel rides, bungee-jumping, tattoo parlors, graffiti stations, flea markets and camping.

Hardwell, who will perform on December 30th, said in a statement about his return to India for Sunburn 2023, “I’m super pumped to be returning to India and playing the Sunburn mainstage! The fans have been blowing up my social media with love and excitement ever since the Sunburn team announced my return, so I know this will be a wild party. Which is why I’m working on something special for this show, and I can’t wait to do it for real on 30th December!”

Timmy Trumpet states, “I’ve always loved Indian culture. It’s always amazing to play in countries, and to meet and connect with people that love music as much as I do. Can’t wait to see everyone at Sunburn!”

Charlotte De Witte states, “India, are you ready? I’m coming for you! Can’t wait to meet old friends and make some new ones and experience the true power and beauty of a country like India. See you soon.”
