It’s about time there was studio release from Superfuzz. The Delhi rockers, who came together in 2004, called time on their band in 2008 and made a comeback early in 2014. A decade on, their debut EP Inner City Waster proves they can conjure years-old riffs with new intensity [“School,” “What Every Kid Wants”] and go all out punk rock with newer material as well. With drummer Aditya Paharia and bassist Nikhil Rufus Raj bringing the grooves, vocalist-guitarist Sanchal Malhar nails every note, singing about running into typical Delhi dipshits [“Manu is a Dumbass”], city life [“Rat in the Dirt”] and the problem with having pet rabbits [“Bunny Epidemic”].
