Swedish House Mafia To Play Their Last Tour In India

The electronica supergroup to perform in Mumbai and Noida as part of the One Last Tour

Published by

Swedish House Mafia announced earlier this year that the group will no longer be playing together. The trio of Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell will now be proceeding on a 30-city worldwide tour, their last, called the One Last Tour. Of the 30 cities on the bill that includes Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Chicago, two are in India”“ Mumbai and Noida. Swedish House Mafia will perform on November 17th and 18th respectively.

Even though the DJ supergroup has never played in the nation, Axwell has headlined Sunburn for three years in 2007, 2010 and 2011. Nikhil Chinapa, co-founder, Submerge, who is hosting the Indian leg of the One Last worldwide tour, says, “Each time Axwell has played in India, his tour managers have written back saying he’s had a blast. He has been really happy playing to an Indian audience, so when we found out Swedish House Mafia will not be gigging anymore, we had to get them down to India.”

Details about tickets will be announced soon. Watch this space.
