The rapper’s second trip to the country includes a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards India
Florida Grammy-winning rapper and producer Faheem Rasheed Najm aka T-Pain will perform in Mumbai on March 22nd at Club Royalty. T-Pain, whose has collaborated with Rhythm Dhol Bass [RDB], will also perform with the Brit Indian bhangra trio at the first edition of the MTV Video Music Awards India on March 21st in Mumbai.
T-Pain’s list of collaborators range from Akon and Snoop Dogg to Pitbull, all of whom have performed in India. The rapper himself, known for his auto-tuned vocals on songs such as “Buy U A Drink” and “5 ”˜O Clock”, is on his second tour of the country. For his 2011 debut, T-Pain’s three-city tour of Mumbai, Delhi and Pune was rescheduled last minute from March to June, owing to the hip hop star falling sick.
This month, T-Pain performs with RDB at the MTV VMAI, an invite-only event which also includes performances by Priyanka Chopra, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Vishal-Shekhar among others.
