With a new wave of Indian pop artists emerging, major labels have been quick to swoop them up. T-Series announced today that it has signed a “group of promising and emerging artists” and are releasing music from at least five new acts in the coming weeks.
Producer-songwriter duo Garvit-Priyansh – previously known for their 2022 song “Sanware” and releasing “Mere Ranjhana” via T-Series in December last year – will release upcoming songs including “Jiya Mera” and “Sitaron” via T-Series.
Coming up next is a release by Punjabi/Hindi singer-songwriter Savneet Singh, called “Khoya Tha” that releases on January 18th, followed by singer-songwriter Vasu Kainth’s “Roko Na” on January 25th. Kainth – who draws from ghazal greats like Jagjit Singh as well as American pop artists alike – previously scored big with the million-streamed song “Loriyan” in 2021.
Further releases from T-Series are coming from singer-composer Parth Srivastava (a song called “Uljhan”) and Lucknow-origin composer, producer and songwriter Shivam Srivastava, whose song “Lamha” is also slated to be out soon. Although the two artists are not related in any way, Parth does have a connect with fellow T-Series signees Garvit-Priyansh from 2023, when they jointly worked on the single “Kahaniyan.”
T-Series said in a statement about their new signings, “At T-Series, we have always believed in the power of new voices and fresh perspectives. Our commitment to providing a platform for budding artists remains unwavering. We are thrilled to welcome these talented artists into the T-Series family. Their creativity and passion align perfectly with our vision, and we are excited to support and showcase their incredible talent to the country.”
