The all-Chinese musical collective unveil their distinct style and soundscape in the official music video

Chinese collective PANTHEPACK celebrate their heritage and hustle in their latest release, “Buzz.”
Curated by member Jackson Wang’s entertainment company Team Wang, the collective comprises rapper-producer (and label CEO) Wang, Taiwanese rapper-producer J.Sheon, singer-songwriter Karencici and rapper ICE who found fame on the television reality show, The Rap of China.
Written by Wang, J.Sheon, Karencici, BOYTOY and Young Sky, “Buzz” is a synth-hip hop track celebrating the fruits of labor and hard work. With verses in English and Mandarin, the bilingual track is all about embracing your achievements while tuning out all unnecessary chatter from bitter souls.
Directed by Wang and Choi, the music video takes place in a high-tech establishment where the collective come together to build a life-sized robotic figure of a panda. From brainstorming to several trial sessions, they finally find success when the robot launches itself towards the sky– a possible commentary on the collective’s promising new beginning.
“Buzz” follows the group’s April 2021 releases, “DNA” and “Transmit.” With an aim to blend contemporary sounds and showcase China’s rich heritage, the collective is the brainchild of Wang and is the second musical act under his label Team Wang.
