UK-based progressive metallers and pioneers in the djent movement, Tesseract, have announced an upcoming two-disc tour edition of their 2015 studio album Polaris. Set to release in September this year, the special tour edition will also feature reworked versions of “Survival,” “Cages,” “Tourniquet” and “Seven Names” from Polaris, Team Rock reports. Pre-orders for the CD set and vinyl start from May 27th.

Tesseract frontman Dan Tompkins said, “It’s been fantastic to revisit some of the tracks from a different angle, and with the benefit of time and space.”

“It was a thrill and an honor to have a much more involved role,” added live producer and sound engineer Aidan O’Brien. “I’m extremely proud of the result. It’s still unmistakably Tesseract ”“ but from an angle I think a lot of people won’t have heard before.”

The live album arrives just as the band is set to go on tour across North America from September through October, with support from French metal act Gojira.
