The top three finalists will battle it out at Mumbai’s antiSOCIAL
The Mahindra Blues Festival – which takes place at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studio on February 10th and 11th – is all set to put a spotlight on the next crop of blues artists with its Big Blues Band Hunt. The event is scheduled for January 22nd at the city-based antiSOCIAL and will see the best blues acts battle it out for a chance to perform at the festival.
After a flood of submissions, the stage is now set for the top three participants to showcase their musical prowess to the judges, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa from composer trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. These renowned musicians will have the challenging task of selecting the ultimate winner from the pool of exceptionally talented artists who have participated in this thrilling hunt.
The level of skill and passion displayed in the submissions this year has been remarkable and having the task of choosing only three finalists will be a tough decision. The evening promises to be a night filled with soulful performances and a celebration of the blues.
Stay tuned for the announcement of the results, as Noorani and Mendonsa carefully deliberate to crown the winner of The Big Blues Band Hunt. Watch this space for updates.
