The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour has become the top-earning tour by a male solo artist in history. Live Nation revealed that the tour, which began in 2022, has grossed over 1 billion dollars after selling tickets for 2026 dates in Mexico, Brazil, Europe, and the U.K. The tour has sold over 7.5 million tickets across performance venues in North America (twice), Europe, the U.K., Latin America, and Australia.
“The Weeknd continues to redefine what it means to be a global touring artist,” said Omar Al-joulani, Live Nation’s president of touring, in a statement to Variety. “Crossing the billion-dollar mark is a testament to his staying power and the incredible demand for his live show. Year after year, he sells out stadiums around the world, and the ‘After Hours ‘Til Dawn’ Tour now stands as one of the biggest of all time — a true reflection of his artistry and impact. The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ Tour Is the Top-Grossing Male Solo Tour Ever
In September 2022, the tour almost faced disaster when The Weeknd lost his voice mid-set during a performance at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. He personally apologized to fans onstage, noting, “This is killing me, I don’t want to stop the show, but I can’t give you the concert I want to give you.” He soon recovered and continued the tour, which will begin another leg on 4/20 in 2026.
The Weeknd is sharing the tour’s proceeds with various advocacy organizations. During the tour, he’s partnering with Global Citizen through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, as well as the United Nations World Food Programme to provide fund to the XO Humanitarian fund. €1 from each ticket sold across Europe, £1 in the UK and the $1 equivalent in Mexico and Brazil will be donated to both organizations.
