Formed in 2000, Them Clones is a four-piece Alt/Rock band from New Delhi comprising of Prithwish Dev (Vocals), Joseph Lalhmachhuana (Guitar), Akshay Raheja (Keyboards/Samples) and Surojit Dev (Drums). The bands bassist Clarence Gonsalves tragically passed away in early 2012. Inspired by the world of rock and roll they deliver an up-tempo sound with powerful guitars and strong lyrics. The band has received a number of accolades, which include Best Band nominations in the Jack Daniels Annual Rock Awards two years in a row in 2006 and 2007, along with winning the Best Song, Best Vocalist and Best Drummer awards in 2009 and were voted Best Band in the 2005 Channel [V] Launchpad band competition. 2009 also saw the release of their debut album, Love.Hate.Heroes, in October, under the CounterCulture Records/EMI label.
