Rapper-producer Phenom, singers Koncept and Bonafide get into seduction mode on their latest release

Tying together verses in Punjabi, Hindi and English, Goa-based Third Degree Originals (T.D.O.) keep things boisterous and buoyant on their latest track “Work On Me.”

Rapper and producer Phenom aka Pinaki Rattan, singer Koncept aka Alistair Hatton and rapper-singer Bonafide aka Sean Christion Aikin team up for a new T.D.O. release, turning on the charm on the track as well as in the video, where they’re seen among women at a club. Produced by Phenom – who is also known for his work with hip-hop heavyweights ranging from DIVINE to Yo Yo Honey Singh – there’s a salute to reggaeton throughout “Work On Me.” Laced with shout-along hooks and vocal melodies, Phenom delivers his slick verse in Punjabi, while Bonafide raps in Hindi and Koncept takes over with a flattering English verse that’s peppered with Spanish phrases.

Phenom says in a statement that they wanted to create a summer track specifically with the reggaeton sound in mind to “get people up and grooving.” He adds, “Listeners in India and around the world have been very kind to embrace new talent and we hope they like what we have to offer.” Bonafide calls reggaeton one of his favorite styles, counting “Work On Me” among his “most exciting pieces of work till date.”

Koncept adds, “As T.D.O., we follow an immersive creative process when we work out a track and that is what makes the entire experience so wholesome. ‘Work On Me’ is no different. From conceptualizing to producing and making this final product, the journey has been very fulfilling.”
