If you’re all for pitching tents, finding peace and tranquility amongst nature while also listening to some really good live music ”“ then a destination festival is the place to be. While it’s quite an expense to get out and go far, we’ve rounded up three upcoming music festivals to plan your weekend getaway, to Punjab in the north, Raigad in Maharashtra and Agumbe, Karnataka.
November 17th ”“ 18th
The debut edition of MYSA ”“ taking place amidst the lush greenery of the Forest Hills at Tala in Raigad ”“ will feature performances by Matteo (from French trip-hop collective Chinese Man), U.K.-based techno artist Pinch, New Delhi/Mumbai electro rockers Donn Bhat + Passenger Revelator, electronica duo Burudu and more.
Besides the music, attendees can indulge in a farm-to-table eating experience (prawn farming) and BBQs, a bonfire, viewing the eco-friendly art installations on show and also stay in the comfort of luxury accommodation. Tickets for the festival start from ₹1920 onward.

November 17th ”“ 19th
The inaugural edition of Bloom In Green Festival, held in the village of Agumbe (near the famous town of Malgudi) is being set up with elements from “transformational festivals” that encourage personal growth, alongside art and music. On the music front, they’ve got Kerala indie-folk band When Chai Met Toast, dream pop band Black Letters, Pune-based soul act Easy Wanderlings, Chennai rockers Madras Mail and more. Day two (November 18th) features DJs such as Sonu Sebastian, Schn and Moh, along with live digeridoo and percussion from Spanda Project.
In addition to midnight bonfire jams and dreamcatcher-making sessions, Bloom In Green also incorporates workshops in upcycled art, storytelling, “urban nomading” and contemporary dance, among many more. Tickets start at Rs 4,499 including camping.

November 22nd ”“ 25th
At the foothills of the Shivalik range, The Kikar Lodge is hosting its own music festival later this month amidst a private forest reserve. The four-day festival includes electronic music frontrunners such as Kohra, Jitter, Ankytrixx, Calm Chor, Vinayak^a, Curtain Blue and bands like electro-rock band Karajimo, pop artist Kavya and more.
The festival also offers wellness elements like spa and yoga sessions, mixed martial arts and adventure activities in and around the resort, including quad biking, paintball, night safaris and ziplining. Tickets start at Rs 7,500 for men and Rs 5,000 for women for day passes and a whopping Rs 18,000 for a season pass for men and Rs 10,000 for women.
