Tina Fey Raps On New Childish Gambino Track

'30 Rock' star one of many guests on rapper's new mixtape, 'Royalty'

Published by

Childish Gambino ”“ the hip-hop moniker of Community comedian Donald Glover ”“ just released his newest mixtape, Royalty. It features a slew of notable guest stars: RZA, Ghostface Killah, Danny Brown, Beck and Liz Lemon herself, Tina Fey.

The 30 Rock star ”“ who was Glover’s boss when the comedian scored his first big writing job on her sitcom, a gig that included periodic guest spots ”“ drops in on “Real Estate,” the tape’s final cut. Fey even gets the last word after verses from Gambino and up-and-comers Alley Boy and Swank.

Fey  drops knowledge on the color of her Prius (blue), shouts out Nordstrom Rack (“that’s racks on racks, dammit!”), and reveals her discomfort when it comes to spitting rap game ad-libs. And while it’s not the most hyper-lyrical thing in the world, it’s certainly worth a listen because, well, it’s Tina Fey rapping on a mixtape.

You can check out the track below; Fey’s verse starts around 4:58.
