So far this year, a range of Korean dramas in a variety of styles have been aired. They have the zing down pat, using great OSTs to complement their riveting and engaging storylines. Songs that are energizing to the ear, magnificently constructed, and lyrically elegant. Some of them have a bluesy luminosity, while others create the sheer magic of love ballads with seductive allure. Still, others have an addictive blend of beautiful orchestration and impassioned singing.
