Watch Travis Scott, Young Thug’s Explicit ‘Pick Up the Phone’ Video
Rappers romp in seedy motel in cut off ‘Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight’
After Travis Scott postponed the arrival of his new LP Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight for another two weeks, the rapper made amends by taking to his new Apple Music radio show .wav to drop a pair of new album cuts, “90201” and “Pick Up the Phone,” as well as the latter’s explicit music video.
The very NSFW, nudity-filled video features Scott and guests Young Thug and Migos’ Quavo romping around a seedy, smoky motel surrounded by scantily clad women. The video debuted at a Los Angeles fete celebrating Scott’s new Apple Music show and upcoming LP, the follow-up to 2015’s Rodeo.
On .wav, Scott revealed that Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight would also feature guests like Kendrick Lamar and Kid Cudi in addition to Young Thug and Quavo. In a series of tweets, Scott also announced that Birdshad been pushed back to August 26th due to “technical difficulties” after initially scheduling August 12th as its release date. “I want y’all to take this album in as whole I’m so anti singles. U will love me for this. Trust in the flame,” the rapper tweeted.
Meanwhile, the prolific Young Thug is touting his own new project, dubbed Jeffrey, that’s due out August 16th.
