Sometimes, the best moments in life are unplanned, raw, and bursting with energy. That’s exactly what happened when singer-songwriter tricksingh aka Tirath Sandhu, decided to do something that can only be described as pure magic. With barely 24 hours’ notice, he dropped a surprise announcement on his social media: a jamming session in Chandigarh. What followed was nothing short of a musical phenomenon.

As the news spread, the city’s music lovers were quick to rally. People from all over turned up, ready to be a part of something bigger than just an artist performance. The atmosphere was energetic, with anticipation hanging thick in the air. The crowd was ready with their phones out, lights on and hearts wide open.

As the first chords of familiar tunes like “Mai Dil Ka Raaz Kehta Hu,” “Jinne Mera Dil Luteya,” “Hayee Mera,” and “Tu Jaane Na” echoed through the night, the crowd became a collective voice, singing in unison with a passion that can’t be faked.

The crowd gathered at tricksingh’s jam session in Chandigarh.

It was a setting that challenged the traditional concept of a concert, followed by a moment of mutual bliss. There was no frontman or spotlight, just a collection of people getting together for the simple, unadulterated love of music. Everyone there let go of their barriers and became part of something bigger than themselves and it felt like a moment of shared vulnerability.

After the session, tricksingh took to his Instagram to express his gratitude, saying, “Thank you for believing in me and my art, it doesn’t get any more real than this.” And honestly, it’s hard to argue with that. What happened in Chandigarh was more than just a jamming sesh, it was proof of the power of music to bring people together, to make them feel seen, heard, and connected.

tricksingh will soon be performing as a special guest alongside hip-hop/pop star King for his Australia and New Zealand tour in November, performing in Sydney (November 22), Melbourne (November 24) and Auckland (November 27).
