“No-no-no-no-no”: that’s the attitude the grumpy old man (Ed Asner) in Up takes to life. About to lose his house, he ties balloons to the place and flies off, along with a kid stowaway. Directed by Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc), Up would seem to be fighting an uphill battle. An animated feature for the AARP set? Whaaat? But this is Pixar. Expect miracles.
