The Mumbai death grind band performs at the second edition of Bombay Asylum with death metallers Reptilian Death and nu-metal band Anthracite
We checked in with Mumbai death grind band Gutslit at a jam room in Sion last night, ahead of their first show [and album launch] with their new guitarist Prateek Rajagopal, at Bombay Asylum II today.
While the band figured out each portion of their songs old and new with Rajagopal, bassist Gurdip Singh Narang mentions that today will be a new start for the band. Says Narang, “Plus, our old drummer [Rajeev George] will be at the gig, so it will be interesting to see what he thinks of Gutslit now.”Â
To promote their debut album, Skewered in the Sewer, which has received positive reviews from other grind bands from across the country offers Narang, Gutslit have gigs lined up through August and September.Â
Gutslit performs with Reptilian Death and Anthracite at Bombay Asylum II at Zouk, Hotel Imperial Palace, Mumbai on August 8th, 2013. Entry Rs 500 (inclusive of Rs 300 cover charge); Student entry Rs 250. Event details here.
