Video: Snuper Solve Riddles, Narc on Each Other and Reveal their First Impressions of India

The six-member group were guests at the grand finale of the annual K-pop Contest India in New Delhi

I connect with Snuper few days before they land in India and although their schedule won’t allow them to to see the Taj Mahal this time, they’re extremely excited to see what New Delhi is all about. Main vocalist Sangil tells us about the group’s love for Bollywood films, especially 2009’s 3 Idiots (which turned out to be an unprecedented hit in South Korea.) “We really want to see more of the culture we saw in the movie, in real life,” he explains.

Once they landed, it was the people relaxing in New Delhi’s numerous parks that really had them enthralled. “I could see people relaxing, enjoying their free time. They were lying on the grass and talking to friends… it made me envious,” said vocalist Woosung, elaborating that the group didn’t really get to experience these things on a daily basis, even when they were younger.

The six-member group were the chief guests and judges at the grand finale of the annual K-pop Contest India– an event held by the Korean Culture Center India that sees K-pop lovers from across the country perform songs and choreography by their favorite artists for a chance to represent India at the Changwon K-pop World Festival. Held on July 9th, the show saw a turn out of over 2000 K-pop enthusiasts, including South Korea’s own First Lady Kim Jung-sook, who was spotted grooving along to a BTS track during the evening.

In the conversation below, Snuper take the time to relax, give us their first impressions of India and provide meme-worthy content while roasting one another.
