From Black Sabbath to Mastodon, Metallica to Meshuggah  – the list of bands that influences our local metal musicians is endless. We went around town in search of the greatest metal songs ever heard.
Vinay Venkatesh, from Mumbai-based death metal band Bhayank Maut, calls Mastodon’s “The Last Baron,” as the song that takes the mantle space . The band won Best Metal Band at last year’s awards.
