Astrobeats: The Ultimate Virgo Playlist

Step into Virgo season with a curated playlist that’s sharp, soothing, and perfectly put together.

Published by

Virgo season has finally descended upon us, bringing with it chalked-out calendars, self-care rituals, and a whole lot of autumnal lattes. As the air turns crisp, a season of self-introspection awaits, possibly with “hoa hoa hoa” echoing in the background. Known as the zodiacal perfectionists, this earth sign is known for being adaptable, flexible, and extremely analytical in their approach to everything, from to-do lists to alphabetized playlists. Possibly a walking encyclopedia, their detail-oriented nature often makes them picky, especially when it comes to their music choices.

In our new monthly series Astrobeats, we’re dishing out the perfect playlist for the zodiac sign ruling each month. From soulful melodies to underrated bangers, this month’s Virgo mix reflects their quiet magic and soft precision. So sit back, put that journal pen down, light a candle, and press play, as this curated playlist brings the best of structure and sentiment into one.

Beyoncé: “Virgo’s Groove”

Start your mornings with a little disco-funk and soul, as Queen Bey serenades you with “Virgo’s groove”. Laden with airy synths, carefree ad-libs, and heavenly riffs, the pop mogul breaks free from the standard dogmas of pop; the six-minute track from “Renaissance” is tailor-made for the earthly crew. This is not the first time Beyoncé has made zodiac-themed songs. Be it the sensual “Gift from a Virgo”, the astrological anthem “Signs,” featuring Missy Elliot, her tracks embody the quintessential traits that make this sign so desirable, or dare we say, flawless.

Darzi: “Nazar”

Need a breather amidst scheduling your calendar? “Nazar” by Darzi contorts between calm and high-energy. Infused with ambient effervescence, this pop track is apt for everything from solo dance parties to daydreaming sessions to cozy dinner hangouts.

Fleetwood Mac: “Landslide”
You know it’s time to slow down when this song is on repeat. Behind the tough, Virgo perfectionist exterior, hides a whirlwind of cynicism and raw vulnerability. Instantly recognizable through its intro, this track is the silent presence you need when everything goes south. With poignant lyrics and a melancholic soundscape, Stevie Nicks wrote “Landslide” at the age of 27, overwhelmed by changes and the general impermanence of life. Universally relatable, it’s a testament to silent strength, deafening the rut of overthinking, second-guessing, and self-doubting.

EXCISE DEPT: “Billo”

For the softer, more romantic shades of the earth sign, this Punjabi folk banger is bound to transport you to sunflower fields and all things old-school. A sonic tapestry of indie hip-hop, folk beats, and piano segments, the track exudes the kind of golden hour warmth that can leave you radiating on the inside.

Tsumyoki, Gini: “Don’t Even Text”

A tonal shift from the somber and calm, this is a must-have wild card entry that you need in your mix. Peppy from the get-go, the track can not only serve as a backdrop for your GRWM but also your idyllic fantasies. With Gini’s dulcet vocals and Tsumyoki’s effortless flow, the track captures the typical “will-they-won’t-they” energy that comes with playing hard to get.

Taylor Swift: “This is Me Trying”

Would a Virgo playlist even be complete without one of Blondie’s tracks? “This is me trying” is for those quiet nights, when everything feels like it’s coming apart, piece by piece, and the only thing you can do is let go. Inherently hard-working and self-effacing, Virgos hold themselves to high standards. However, this also becomes their greatest fallacy, making them question every move, every motive. It’s the sonic equivalent of the ghost of past dreams, achievements, and what-could’ve-beens that perpetually haunt you. However, the repetitive echo of “This is me trying” will serve as fuel for you to get back on your feet, step by step.

Blood Orange (Featuring Caroline Polachek, Mustafa and Lorde): “Mind Loaded”

This track does the opposite of its title. With Caroline Polanchek’s haunting vocals echoing somberly, the song is impulsive production-wise, leaving the listener guessing what comes next. If you come in feeling overwhelmed, confused, or stressed, you’re bound to feel lighter by the end of this listen.  The track serves as an introspective backdrop, like the end credits of an indie coming-of-age film, and is the only white noise you need during a journaling session.

Doechii: “BLOOM”

This track defines Virgos in their elemental best. Driven, focused, and chasing their dreams, “Bloom” perfectly embodies the archetype of quiet confidence. Immensely responsible and hard-working, Virgos are constantly on the lookout for holistic growth, and “BLOOM” is the musical equivalent of the earth sign’s inner monologue. Or maybe just the right Monday motivation fuel.

Yashraj, Dropped Out: “Daae/Baae”

Take a break from taking the weight of the world upon your shoulders and maybe shake a leg or two with this DHH banger. Melding synth, groovy drums, and an immensely smooth flow, Yashraj’s “Daae/Baae” adds energy, prodding the listener to shake off their inhibitions and let loose—unapologetically.

RANJ, Clifr: “I’M JUST A WOMAN FORREAL”

For when you’re putting your lashes on, looking snatched, and getting ready to hit the town after a week of hustling and grinding. The track by RANJ and Clifr is an energizer, oozing with sensuality and confidence. With sultry vocals and electrifying drum and bass beats, Virgos better be letting their hair down to this song.
