Indian girl-pop group W.i.S.H. – which is short for ‘World inka Stage Hai’ (the world is their stage) – double down on their diverse yet dancefloor-ready sound with their latest song “Therapy.”

The group – comprising Ri (Riya Duggal), Sim (Simran Duggal), Zo (Zoe Siddharth) and Suchi (Suchita Shirke) – are out with their third single after being launched earlier this year. The tongue-in-cheek “Therapy” follows singles like “Lazeez” and “Galti,” honing in on a Hindi-English bilingual pop blend that seeks to take over and arguably become India’s answer to K-pop groups.

The group says in a statement about their new song, “Therapy,’ was born from a collective desire to champion self-worth and empower individuals to rewrite their own narratives. We’ve all been through unpleasant relationships that hold us back. It’s time we stop trying to mend fragments that were never ours to fix and instead focus on what makes us happy! For the four of us, nothing makes us happier than making new music and sharing it with the world. So, turn up the volume, let the music guide you, and remember, you are worthy of all the greatness life has to offer!”

Produced by seasoned artist Mikey McCleary – who has also worked on all of W.i.S.H.’s songs so far – “Therapy” is also jointly produced, written and composed by a larger team comprising artists YÜVA, Blake Dsilva and Vrindam Nagpal. Positioned as a “detox anthem,” the song brings earworm potential with its dizzying electronic treatment with subtle nods to Indian rhythms that match the Hindi lyrics from the four singers.
