For Mumbai singer-songwriter Aarya, slowing down isn’t a term he’s familiar with. The musician has released two EPs in the span of a year; 2017’s debut One Year, One House and Roots (2018). Aarya is now back with a brand new cutesy video for his breezy pop tune “Girl From The Bay” off his sophomore record, which released today.
Directed by Mumbai-based filmmaker Prathamesh Patil, “Girl From The Bay” follows the excitement and thrill of a night on the town between Aarya and his partner, played by Hinal Mehta. The pair is seen attending a party, taking a midnight cab ride, sipping wine on a terrace and also the singer-songwriter serenading Mehta by performing the track. In an earlier interview with Rolling Stone India, Aarya said, “This is a song about a night out with loads of different people at different points of time but just compiled into one story.”
